In the summer of 2005 I moved into my first rented room in a shared group house in Fairfax, VA. For the duration of the lease from June 1, 2005 May 31, 2006 I took a Polaroid of the view from my bedroom window once a day. The resulting photographs document the time I spent in that room, which was the first living space of my own choosing. This daily ritual also became an exercise to observe, discover, and collect the possibilities of a fixed but ever-changing view
