This ongoing series documents Boston’s Lilac Sunday, an annual celebration of the Lilac hosted by the Arnold Arboretum since 1908. Today the festival is a kaleidoscopic mix of sincere flower worship, togetherness, and performance for camera. It’s a beautiful spectacle and one of the few times of year I see anyone commune with flowers.
