Pilgrimage: A journey, especially a long one, made to some sacred place as an act of devotion; to pay homage.
This is ongoing journey, where I travel to and document sites important in the history of imagemaking, and that I personally hold dear. The images I make in the course of a pilgrimage attempt to capture traces of past histories at specific locations, or make clear the apparent absence of a known history.
